BTW, Mines were placed around every doorway in the map :D

That's not paranoid, it's just safe. ;)

I finally got to play ns_nirvana yesterday. It was a good game even though the marines, which I was, lost. We had to kill at least 7 onos/onii/onoses with just LMGs and pistols while defending our base. :D
-
...onos/onii/onoses...
I believe that most of us in LM have agreed:
Singular is Onos.
Plural is Onos as well.
Very similar to fish:
Man, did you see that fish I caught? Geez, there were like a dozen fish over there!
Man, that Onos came out of no where. Damn, they had at least three Onos completely trashing our base

*Moved* to the NS forum.

I still like onii :(
-
The problem with Onii is that it resembles the japanese word 'Oni' too much (meaning devil or bad spirit). And yes, I'm only saying this to provoke Uranium into screaming how much Japan sucks. :p
Yes, I say Onos in plural as well.

Yes, I say Onos in plural as well.
But an onos IS a devil, hence Onii since many onos means the marines are in bad spirit :D.

Flayra himself uses "Oni" as the plural for Onos.
-
If Flayra cut off his toes, that would still be a bad idea.

haha, good point. the ol' if-your-friends-jumped-off-a-bridge technique, eh?
as for onos/onii/onoses, i prefer the fourth choice, onosi.
Its pronounced oh-no-sigh (no, that wasn't intentional  ), like plural cactus is cacti. (kak-tie)
"Four onosi incoming, we're in trouble..."
-
Oh no. Commander, they've got an Onos. Sigh.
