The remains of my PCI fan that was running right under my Radeon 9800.
This is the back. I pulled the fan out and nearly burned myself on it, I had to pull it out with pliers.
1) That hole in the middle should be round.
2) Those other holes shouldn't be there.

heh, guess someones going to buy a new pci fan sometime.
May I suggested scraping all that, and just covering you entire pc in plastic then throw it in a tub of ice? (with a vent for the eat to leave from of course)

Those things exist to burn out. I don't know why they do so with such regularity, but they always do. The ones we sell here say '5 year warranty!' on top of them. They tend to last maybe 3 months if you're lucky.
