I've heard in mineshaft there's a screw up in the middle of generator that allows you to drop more than 8 chambers of a type in that area. Might be worth tooling around with some time. But this is quite a WOL. I'm guessing no marines made it to double after that.

I'm pretty sure it's that specific area on the map that allowed me to exceed the 8-per-area chamber limit, as I was able to duplicate the forest in the same spot in a later game.

its like a gorges natural defense system. Like different types of poisonus plants in coral reefs are to fish ^^. Doubt any marines would chase you into there

Why build a forest when you can build a TOWER!  Ok, the screenshots kind of suck *grumble* damn sens.  The tower is from below the catwalk to the ceiling, use your imagination.
