The thing about BUS is that i don't want to know.
Say they tell us what BAS is, and it really does promise something truly great..something amazing...that will rock the NS community from the monitor to the bones. And...then it doesn't work out. i'd be hugely disappointed.
Its best that they keep it a secret, so that even if it doesn't work out, expectations are worked from the ground up, and not from the sky and down.

The BUS is Flayra's sekrat plan to take over the world. BUS is otherwise known as SUB, which stands for subatomic uber1337 bomb, which Flayra will use to control people's minds. After that, a new beta will not be needed because everyone has to give him all their possesions.

One thing I've never really liked about NS and a handful of other mods out there is that they keep releasing 'betas'. I think once the game has been out there for well over a year, and has been drastically changed gameplay-wise at least once, its safe to say it isn't a beta anymore.

OMG I haxored that and you can login with guest/guest!!! I r l337.
And check out some of the latest bug fixes while you're in there. An automatic no-build around res nodes, with or without a tower on them. (no more 'crap, I have to recycle that PG and redrop it!')
And.... HUGE KNOCKBACK FIXED!!! Knockback in midair will now be similar to what it is on the ground. Huzzah!

beta means stable, playable but not finished
ns is far from finished, and will be beta for a while

yah hehe, but alot of games today are released unstable but playable, and are called finished games and have patches :D.
P.S. uber hacking bob, that was awesome to read up on the bugs and stuff and the things they are fixing, and the hillarious stuff that i didnt even know about. we should have a fun day and do the thing on Metal just for fun. and then have someone go in the secret room and meet us out there haha.

Yea but..When NS is released on steam he will not be able to update it when ever he feels like..He will have to meet deadlines..

There's civ, always out to ruin my fun. But yeah, I thought it was rather obvious I was joking about that. I watch the bug tracker all the time for the latest fixes, it just so happened that today quite a few rather important bugs were fixed or updated. XP-Cagey has been busy. (he's such a cool guy, I want him to have my children)
