Title: My Senior Prom Night
Post by: Grimm on May 09, 2004, 02:41:11 AM: I kept some of you in IRC (actually, I think only bacon_flaps really) in suspense as I mentioned I was going "to the thing" this/last night, but I wouldn't say what. Well, my Senior Prom is what I had gone to, and I have a few pics to share.

First, is me sporting my rented Zoot Suit style tux, with the hat and chain and tails. Overall, I was very much enjoying the outfit, very 1930's gangster-ish and it actually looks really good on me. :D

Next is myself and the two friends I went with (Didn't have a date, neither did they, so we all went stag).

Of course, going stag doesn't mean you can't hang out with the ladies. ;)

Overall, I had a really great time. I absolutely loved the outfit, and got a number of comments on it, and am especially glad I went with the red vest and tie instead of the default white (there had been a couple people in suits very similar to mine, but I was the only one with a not-white or black vest). Very, very schway. :D

I love the way your hat has a small stylish tilt to it; makes you look like a gangster right out of a comic ^^

You do realise you're gonna have to make a character based off yourself in that suit for CoH now don't you? :p

That poster came from a (now) very old issue of Nintendo Power, and I had put it up when I was into the Pokemon games (the first ones for GB/GB Color). Now its there so I can look up at it and remember how fun they used to be. Its odd, been about 6 years since that game first came out...

Now makes me want to either go to my senior prom in a zoot suit as well, or some other type of old 20-30's type thing. That is if my date will be okay with it, IF i have a date. If i dont, i dont have to worry about anyone telling me what to wear lol. Though i do have to say, id have to find something that goes well with my long hair, dont know if a zoot suit would or not, agh the decisions for next years prom, since i didnt go my junior year, 2 weekends ago. Yes im a junior in high school, oh yipee, and im a geek loser :D. Grimm is like the pimp of geeks now.

You laugh now, but some kid from my high school took two escorts to prom with him... so.. hmmmm.

and come to think of it he also wore a zoot suit, and had the bling and the chain and the whole gangster look just like Grim
