Want to get a thread started so we can find out who's going to be playing and on what servers so if we want we can all play togeather. Mabey get a Lunixmonster guild started.
Also post your planned Race/Class and Profession.
I will be playing with Grimm and Vinnie on the West Coast.
As Eather a:
Tauren Warrior - Mining/Blacksmithing
or
Tauren Druid - Herbalism/Alchemy
Everyone seems to want to create a a Warlock for the Infernals, yet nobody seems to realize that the Infernals are a level 50 spell; I very highly doubt more than half of anyone creating a Warlock will actually get that high.

precisely, which would mean that if i choose to be a warlock, i would dedicate all my WoW time to it and by the time to get to that level, i may hopefully be one of the few to have a pet infernal. I like the possibility of being 'one of the few', instead of 'another one of those'.
ok i've decided i'll be a tauren druid, dunno yet on the profession though.

if you have no one going alch, be alch/herb, and start it early on. it goes along with your level nicely, and the potions aren't something a support character can be without.
Now, before anyone runs off on a whiny tangent about how "Eww, you have to buy the game, and then buy it again and again every month", stop and think; For those of us that are getting the game, it's obviously entertaining enough to warrant the monthly fee, and it really isn't that much of a problem if you're running off of more than a weekly allowance.

I agree. compare it to going to a movie or something. if you see 2 movies a month, that's (probably) about the price WoW is gonna be. now that's 4 hours of entertainment. assuming you play WoW more than 4 hours a month, you're getting your money's worth.
I'm greatly enjoying the diversity in gameplay the Warlock presents with the different pets. I can use my voidwalker to tank while I deal most of the damage through curses, ailments, and direct blasts, so I'll use him against tougher enemies (such as unique creeps). However, I do end up using a bit of mana each fight with the Voidwalker, which is why the Succubus is nice for cutting through enemies; She deals a nice amount of damage while I tank a creep, and there's pretty much no downtime for quite a few fights. In a big group with enough tanks and good damage dealers, the Imp provides some nice buffs and has a solid fireball attack. I've yet to get to 30, but I hear the Felhound is good against casters, eating up their mana and whatnot.
Ragefire is an extremely annoying instance, I just really don't like how it's set up. Wailing Caverns is great for drops, although I agree that the Deadmines are awesome. Anyone playing a rogue should try to stealth walk from the entrance to the Goblin forge area sometime; I had to do that twice in Open Beta after almost everyone died, and we needed a third person to get to the Warlock to summon everyone else there. Quite the experience.

i do too, but it's not limited to just succubi. No pet is safe from me... not even polymorphed sheep.

ticking up w/ a guildie in an alliance tower, looking for a pattern for the robe of arcana...

putting aside our differences to DONCE.
Raiding Astranaar? Wow how creative

...a comment about creativity coming from, what, a night elf hunter? there's probably as many night elf hunters as there are HORDE on some servers... which reminds me, blizzard really needs to figure out how to balance pk rq... being outnumbered at least 3 to 1 on a pk server does not make questing all that easy... I was collecting snuff for a quest right outside of booty bay yesterday. needed 15 snuff from bloodsail raiders. got pk'd 17 times before I was done - with no one alliance person killing me more than twice...
they should put in planetside-style balancing til they figure out a better idea... if there's 3x as many alliance as horde on a particular server, horde should get like 50% more hp or stats :D
Umm... I assume by Night Elf Hunter here, you mean Paladin... I swear to god, there are more paladins than the rest of the alliance combined...

incorrect. hunters are #1, then paladins, at least for my server. then rogues/warriors fight over next %age ;p
Imagination (http://www.wowrankings.com/viewb.htm?c=view_talents&name=Imagination&s_id=103) <- my character :D update it every time i log off(could be 1-2 times a day tops ;p)
you guys should get wow ranking accs and use it too :) its pretty nice
edit;
also has classes and races from gathered info, obviously not everyone but still something to look at :o
ooooo a druid. must discuss talents!
i see you've ignored feral like me, however we differ on the restoration.
i like my regrowth critical hitting better than improved rejuv.
zero points in combat endurance? i've got 5.
damn i love nature swiftness, i almost didn't get it though.
balance i'm not too far into yet. i probably will get omen of clarity, improved moonfire, and nature's reach which i think will be nice, which i see you've ignored. what are your plans for your last points?

feral = complete crap. maybe for horde it would be nice, but i'm sorry its just horrible for NE druids. really lack the str to even bother trying to deal damage. i'd have to get str on every piece of armor to consider getting near dps of other players, then to find my weapon doesn't affect my forms at all. doesn't even consider the weapon proc, omen of clarity or otherwise. thats imo, at least.
i did actually try feral talents. its a decent line for cat form, extra str/crit/combo points. kinda crappy for bear form, though. it helped a little on dps for cat form, but as i said the base ne str is crap so even the extra did jack. feral charge is idiotic. REQUIRES 5 rage to use, combat-useable though, still kinda crap w/ the minimum range though.
i never use regrowth =/ used to lower, but once i got the talents it just seemed horrible. i guess the casting time is what makes it nice though o_O idk, usually find it better to use healing touch. natures swift = god. innervate = god. only useful active talents for druids atm.
i however, found myself using rejuv a ton. throw it up when people take damage and it will cover most of the damage. w/ gift of nature it gets 20%(unless its 15 then 5 or vice versa, who knows.) stacks with your regular heals, and regrowth. makes it very useful imo :)
in place of regrowth crit as you see i got sublety, i didn't use regrowth so figured i'd try that. its very useful actually, i don't get aggro when i cast rejuv on someone who misses first hit on a mob(thorns considered, i think) :)
as for balance, omen of clarity i'm still playing around with, i'm not sure if its chance is affected by weapon speed or not. gunna test that sometime soon i hope :o pretty nice if you find yourself meleeing a bunch in caster form, though.
improved moonfire is very nice. natures reach i'm getting 1 point into, just finishing the entangling talent atm. getting moonglow once i get 15 points into balance, then i'm 60 so no more talents ;p
oh, i finally got tribal lw. only took me like a week to get the ****ing turtle gloves and scales for everything. but grats2me! :D
Baby Zergling.

And Horde has Shaman, which is just as overpowered as Paladin.
Seriously, is there something about Horde that turns everyone into a whining crybaby? Look at your posts, cry me a :Ding river.
I just found this picture and couldn't stop giggling...

Choosing rogue talents is like pulling teeth... you'd rather not lose any of them but they gotta go =3

Get on IRC, Gem, I can point some good TALENTS out to you. (Holy si teh nub)
i definetly still play.
51 Nightelf Rogue on ner'zhul (http://www.wowrankings.com/viewb.htm?name=Thorantalus&s_id=92)
16 Orc Shaman on Stormscale (http://www.wowrankings.com/viewb.htm?name=Khell&s_id=120)
clicky for more awesome info :p

can't wait for my warr to get thrash blade ^__^ should be very sick w/ flurry. sucks its kinda slow tho..
ditched wow rankings, got annoying for me :\ currently a ~35 warr, dw, all fury ftw!
Okay, I'm a level 10 Undead Rouge named Illiris on Sargeras..
A very poor (due to some bad choices) Undead Rouge
A very poor undead rouge who would be more than happy to accept donations ;)
No, but really.. I'm kinda low on cash and the undead missions, while pretty indepth and fun, don't exactly hand out the best rewards.
So basically anything to help me get the hell out of Trisifil glades quicker would be appriciated

skip finishing it, go do the orc quests, before they become grey.. easier, and you get some decent rewards :o

Actually, I went around it all together and started an orc hunter. I can never decide what I want to be =/
Third character in 4 days =(
I made a gnome warrior named Shinkicker on ner'zhul. he's a real terror.

the name wasn't taken? very nice , lol.
we seem to have a disproportional amount of druids. me like.
i'd stab you in the forehead if you skipped a class-specific quest

On no. I done my time - I pissed away my three hours to get those effing medallions. SO NOW I CAN SWIM LIKE A CHAMP!
I think I'll be shutting down my account today...

fo' real real?
Dubbinub, you're on Suramar with me, right?
I made a Troll Rouge and hit level 7 in no joke, an hour. Took me the better part of an afternoon with my druid.
Anyway, my druid is Legotar, and my rouge is Legovar.

My horde character is on Magthereidon. I'll make one on Suramar perhaps today
