i played a hunter in stress, but i dont know how they've changed since. From what i remember though, hunters excel at ranged combat and did pretty good damage with it too. just carry a big sword with ya in case someone gets close though. Their melee abilities arent as fancy as their ranged, but still offer interesting moves.

hmm... there was one i was tracking that seemed alot liek NS but with 3 races instead of 2... i don't know the status of it nor do i know the name anymore because i think i accidentlly deleted the site from my favourites list...

it had 3 races: human, machine, alien. and a few bots that were neutral or hostile.
had a definite NS feel to it though.
anyway, if you know what i'm talking about i say try that... if it's out, that is.

wow, i am such a useful fellow.

god. damn. uranub... That kicks ass!
Thanks to you, I am now rethinking my whole plan of being a nightelf hunter. Playing as a rouge sounds so much cooler. I would have paid to see all that happen.

By the way, what lvl are ya when you did all this? if that can be done at a lower level i can only imagine the chaos you can cause when you get really up there.

this is all i got to show for what i did in the stress test. This was taken inside the valley of trials, the orc starting area. I was able to sneak in without any guards seeing me. Just me and my pet raptor that i got from deep within enemy territory.

yep, the combat is what hooked me in. I absoloutely love the fact that your position relative to your opponent matters, and you dont automatically turn around to attack your target. With that said, if you can maneuver behind your opponent and stay behind him, he won't have a chance at attcking you until he can turn around.

I've seen a duel between two warriors which left one of them the winner with barely a scratch on him. Reason being was that he was behind the other guy the whole time and his opponent couldn't turn around fast enough to catch him before the other guy jumped over and behind again.

i took out a tauren shaman that was 2 levels above my nightelf hunter. It was a cool battle too. He attacked me on the docks of Ratchet (that goblin town) so i jumped in the water and dived down. he followed and i hit him with a move that slows movement, so the rest of the fight was me basically slashing away at him from behind and slowing his movement while he frantically tried to swim to the surface before he downed. :D

I can't wait for this game. I had so much fun in just that one week of the stress test. They released the racial traits too! I'm really liking the Nightelf abilities.. turning into a wisp at death for faster movement is really cool, especially when i've had bad luck with corpse runs over huge distances.

@ grimm/vinnie: Gnome Rogues in the open beta or retail? If you are i'll join you guys.

i'll get in on this when it comes to open beta. the game will be better than sex with holy_devil 4 times in one night.

stop lying, nothing is better than that.

sure there is, having sex with holy_devil 5 times in one night with nite owl in a rocking chair in one corner telling you how these things were done when he was our age.

as for WoW, i plan on playing a gnome warlock with 2 other frisnds i met while playing the stress test. I'm noly taking gnomes for the open because that's the last race i'd play seriously when retail comes along. with that said, i'll be buying lots of alcohol and my clothing will be missing whenever i i feel like causing a ruckus.

this is pretty good fun. alot of times marin-i mean... survivors get slaughtered by the rush of zombies, but the times the survivors win are always a fun thing to watch.

I liked making references to NS while playing, and having others join in as well.

*round starts*
"comm drop me a shotgun!"
"man, eject the comm!"
"watch the vents for skulks..."
"commander, I need ammo"
"my shrink says i need an outlet for my agression"
"OMG ONOS! F4 F4!"

When i played it yesterday i found that singing a song over voicecomm with the entire zombie team while rushing the survivors makes things so much fun and great for laughs. I got the zombies all singing  Bohemian Rhapsody while we rushed some survivors camped in a room. Indeed, the fun in this games comes more from the people you play with rather than the gameplay itself.

instructions are on the screen. Would probably have a cooler effect if you were trippin' out on acid or something. not that i'm promoting the use of drugs... i'm just sayin'...

get the GTA: Vice City soundtrack, including the parts with Lazlow and the commercials. ^-^

then run over old ladies and steal the ambulance when they come by to revive her, but bring the CD along so you can listen to it in the ambulance.

it's amazing how such a simple concept could become an epic adventure with people against an invisible enemy, frantically trying to spell words to 'score' before another takes interest in your hardships and destroys all you worked hard to establish, simply by kidnapping an important member of your word. Truly, this game is one that shall carry through the decades and shall be immortalized in everyone's hearts and mind upon going retail in the near future. Servers shall be erected; tournaments shall be held; all for one goal, naming the true champion of this dismal world we call 'The letter game'.

new Temp sig ftw. Thorax and Lunixmonster were taken at 2 different times, but were not hacked together. It was a group effort to spell out lunixmonster.

i was at school at the time in the downtown area so our building was surrounded by other sky scrapers, so i had to get out and walk a fair distance out of the city to see it, but by that time it was coming out of the eclipse, but what i saw was still pretty cool; 1/3 was red, 1/3 orange and 1/3 grayish.

a friend of mine on my MSN list had his name saying something about Natural Selection being out, so i asked him what it was. Thats when i remembered it was that cool looking mod i've seen banners for on other sites, so i went and downloaded it and played it a few days with a few of my friends from schol. They all stopped playing within the week (they were CS nubs), but I've been playing since 1.02
