Title: I got a very amusing call today.

My dad's workplace has an automated sensor which calls our house if the temperature of the server room gets too far out of range, because he is one of the senior administrators for the servers.  Well, today I got a call from that automated system, now immortalized as my first ever sig on this forum.

we get interesting calls at work too like:
"do you know that you qualify for free health insurance!"
"this is time warneer cable and we have a special on digital cable for your whole house"
and
"i'm conducting a survey of singles in the work force"

oh man i get those at home CONSTANTLY.  I have 10 messages a day from those sorts of telemarketers, i'm up to 40 on the answering machine just from unanswered calls mostly from marketers.  Gonna see how many my machine can hold.
