Has anyone been attacked while camping? I smashed my hippy-stone right away, and now I wonder if camping early on is worth a potential smackdown. What is the penalty for dying, anyway?

people the same level as you can attack you. when they attack, they choose to use mus,mys, or mox. they also pick what they want as a prize (stats, items, meat) items in your closet are safer than in your inventory.
say they pick muscle and stats. if they have the higher muscle, you lose, and the attacker steals some stats from you and he gets them. if you win while on defense, you don't gain anything, but it lets you know who tried and failed.
it is entirely based on who has the higher stats. a popular strategy is to pump the 2 stats that don't affect your character level to crazy levels. filling your campground with as much stuff as you can helps, a bunch (spooky scarecrow,fung sheway, etc) automatically lower the attacker's stats a little. try to get barb wire and white picket fences, meat golem, etc.
stat fights don't appeal to me. i wish you could use your moves and stuff. luckily i researched pvp instead of smashing the stone for the hell of it.
edit: be quite drunk before going on the attack. drunkenness helps.
