Mapping / More Custom Maps

Actually, currently hydrosity seems to be emptying the server. It gave Mouse some valuable feedback that will no doubt help him in upcoming maps (and maybe in a new version of hydrosity?) though, so in a way it was a success, yes. But rest assured that having more custom maps are on the agenda.
I think for non-regs that means downloading it, which a few feel is not worth the effort so hit another server. As for us regs, it's frustrating not knowing the layout. I think i've only survived one whole round on hydrosity, not because it's a bad map, not at all, but the fact that it's a whole new map to learn.

My poor little brain.

my drivers licence has unrestricted itself ... so if you decide to come to kansas, stay off the roads :p

oh yeah

Code: [Select]
#include <iosttream.h>

int main()
{
cout << "hello forums";
return 0;
}
I was under the impression it should be:

Code: [Select]
#include <iostream.h>

int main()
{
cout << "hello forums"<< endl;
return 0;
}

Oh, and added an endl since I normally do that.
And neither of you are indenting your code. For shame!

Oh right, I forgot to mention the tank. Makes you wonder about the issue of fuel...
It ran on food and sleep, if i remember right. I have both series 1 and 2 of Those Who Hunt Elves.

At first it's quite cool, but it gets pretty average as it goes on.

I'm doing nothing for Xmas. I hate it, to be perfectly honest.

I think it should be left with all maps in cycle. With 3.0's ability to votemap, if everyone on the server gets fed up with playing NS:C, they can just vote to a normal NS map, and vice versa.

Oh yeah, add co_dawn to the cycle. :D

Sorry to be a killjoy, but if LB isn't aware that he's buying dodgy DVDs, then i feel he should be.

As i said on IRC just now, it's a sad state when it's easier to find bootleg anime DVDs than it is to find legit ones.....

Hate to tell you, but that calendar's a fake. The 2004 Masamune Shirow calendar is called Japanesque, the image shown for the that 2004 calendar is actually one of the images from 2000's "Millenium" calendar, If i recall correctly.

As to the DVD's, The Masamune Shirow collection i'm positive is illegal. There is no possible way you can fit "Appleseed, Black Magic M-66, Ghost in the Shell, Dominion Tank Police, Gundress" all on 2 DVDs. I can guarentee you they will be of a sub-standard quality.

The Chobits DVD's i will entirely advise against buying. Notice how it says episodes 1-24. Chobits has 26 episodes and two special episodes, you aren't getting the whole series. Again, they're bootleg DVDs.

I mean, if you're not bothered with them being bootlegs, sure, pay for them, but personally, if i'm paying for a DVD, i want to be paying for a legit one.

*EDIT: Also note, eBay is notoriously bad with fakes and illegal DVDs. While they are a lot cheaper, they're very rarely of the high quality you expect of DVD.

I'd just like to add a few rites which i feel are pretty important...

- Terry Pratchett books
- Going to clubs or pubs and spending your entire duration there discussing computer hardware
- Knowing how to strip down and rebuild a machine in 20 minutes flat (or less)
- Having more cables in your house than your average office workspace

Just one or two things i find that you're just not a geek if you don't have / don't do. :D
