I've recently discovered the wonderful (and annoying) world of sprites and...
I Need :help: !!!
My sprite compiler (puts BMPs into SPRs) requires that the .bmps need to have 256 colors. Can I choose which 256 colors i get to use? like a color palette(sp.)? When i compile them into an alphatest sprite, how do i get choose what color to make transparent? and what color to make the shades of grey?
wow, i really need :help: lol
oh, and btw, i'm using Wavelength Sprite Wizard v1.1

Just set the quality to 256 colors and if your using the wrong colors it should just degrade them :p, but I can't remember such things right now, haven't played around with image files in a loooooong time. So I'm just a nub hafafaf :D

if you can get paint shop pro # (i know 7 and 8 let you) you can create custom palettes, also if you make sure there are less than 256 colors before you change the palette most programs should work, although they will dither some/all of your colors if you have 257+

The last color in the palette is the color used as transparent. You can use any colors you like too.
