It's not as broken so it is good, as in 1.0.7 was too broke for me to use(but the beta 1.5 worked oll). Final is much faster and efficient than the beta version, although I'm still having issues when it comes to embedded flash objects, I can hear but still not see. Seems to have fixed performance issues more than anything else. Final version broke my hammertime extension too, when it's just a stop button with a sound file.

I guess I should check it out. Although, I probably won't until it pops up like crazy telling me there is a new version. Can you turn that off btw?

"blablabla is out, discuss" threads are really stupid when they don't include changelogs.

Here's what's new in Firefox 1.5:

    * Automated update to streamline product upgrades. Notification of an update is more prominent, and updates to Firefox may now be half a megabyte or smaller. Updating extensions has also improved.
    * Faster browser navigation with improvements to back and forward button performance.
    * Drag and drop reordering for browser tabs.
    * Improvements to popup blocking.
    * Clear Private Data feature provides an easy way to quickly remove personal data through a menu item or keyboard shortcut.
    * Answers.com is added to the search engine list.
    * Improvements to product usability including descriptive error pages, redesigned options menu, RSS discovery, and "Safe Mode" experience.
    * Better accessibility including support for DHTML accessibility and assistive technologies such as the Window-Eyes 5.5 beta screen reader for Microsoft Windows. Screen readers read aloud all available information in applications and documents or show the information on a Braille display, enabling blind and visually impaired users to use equivalent software functionality as their sighted peers.
    * Report a broken Web site wizard to report Web sites that are not working in Firefox.
    * Better support for Mac OS X (10.2 and greater) including profile migration from Safari and Mac Internet Explorer.
    * New support for Web Standards including SVG, CSS 2 and CSS 3, and JavaScript 1.6.
    * Many security enhancements.

IE 6.0 SP2 (winXP) with built in popup blocker.

Love it to death and no complaints at all.

You can say all you want about security holes and all that, but I keep it patched and ain't a dumb user on top of it.

Hey I love IE also, but I just had way too many problems when using it. I'd still use IE right now if it didn't have a tendency to crash explorer whenever something went wrong, it's like a BSOD without all the stuff I loved about win98 :(. I miss win98.

If my theme is compatible, I'm sold.  Improved tabbed-browsing is cool and all, but I like my setup too much to change before they do.
