I'm with the smartFTP crowd, and it is(or was before that ugly merger) TechTV's pick.

http://www.flashfxp.com/

FlashFXP, used it for ages, never done me wrong, also, when the trial period is up, it has a 15 second or so wait before you can use it, but it's still fully featured.
Hint: Use Guided Mode for helpful prompts

Filezilla is what I use.  Make sure you disable PASV if you connect to the LM ftp :)
SmartFTP is what I use for mass downloading of the logs, because it supports downloading as many files at a time concurrently as I want.  Filezilla doesnt seem to support this.

...wait a second...since when did we have to disable PASV for the LM FTP? My FTP Client worked JUST fine til I installed Win2k3 SP1, and it changed the built in firewall and owned our FTP server and hence my client!

Uninstalled SP1 and all is fine...but you say disable PASV and it should work?

Dev, we needa talk  :help:

Its not required..  I had thought it fixed a problem I was having, but it didnt.
I'm wondering if its my router doing it, as I can't get directory listings for directories with large numbers of files.  The logs directory is the main thing I notice, I can browse pretty much everything else other then that.

that would be a timeout on a directory listing, sir
