and allso, dont fall into stereotypes, or expect them from others...

not to toot my own horn, but im a moderately talented poet (im published, so take what you will from that)  yet, girls dont go "gaga" just cause your a poet... you gotta be kind, a good listener, and genuinely care about the persons feelings.  If you go out and are insensitive to the other person, your first date will be your last..

of course, this is all from observation, I'm 18 and still no GF :/  oh well, more time for writing and NS!!

I am best at aliens, as i have the daring and the sneak idea down pat.  I am an expert ambusher, and can often keep all the rines inside their base when sent out in squads.  my favorite type is skulk, very fast...  My favorite upgrades are silence cloaking and regen

I think the key to getting one is being a good Ns player, not most kills, but well behaved, and not whiny...

I belive i told them i wanted one ONCE in the very beginning, never said another word, and just bit as many rines as i could...ehhehe...

but seriously, if your on and you have to ask why you dont have a reserved slot, thats prolly why, I know I wouldnt like beign nagged at to give someone a gift...

but now that i have one... *strokes reserved spot* my precioussssssssssssss

I dunno if this is relevant or not, but its a bit of experience...

This nub problem we're having isn't just present in the gaming industry, It seems to be the nasty underbelly of online pop-culture.

3 years ago i was the moderator of the "Other Religions" and " Why Not Me" boards on TeenTalk (they have a tv show now :/)  I started backseat adminning in the other religions board, cause of all the flamers, you had the christian fundamentalists who were flaming the muslims, the muslims were flaming hte christians, the Hindi's were setting flametraps, bla blabla blabla....  Eventually they made me a real mod so i could lock posts and delete them, since the real mod was idle for 6 mos. But while i was modding, the thing i couldnt figure out is, these people belonged to very different people groups, the only common thread was that they had nothing better to do than sit on the computer for hours a day, I play NS and other games in my Free Time its not all i do...  Lack of skill notwithstanding, I bet these kids were allways banning do nothing but sit on their comp and play games.

Wielding the Banhammer seems reasonable, and yes, LM does have a rep, I remember more than one post on the NS boards talking about servers, and which ones were good saying "Lunixmonster is good, but dont fork around being nubbish, they will ban you in a flash"

Mebbe we should direct these poor products of society to rehabilitative therapy, ettiquete training, and most of all, Send them to a Hack-i.d. clinic, so they stop saying OMG HMG CANT KILL SKULK WITH CARA!!! HAXXXXXX

Carrionfields or Riftshadow? aynone?

anyway, I had a badass ranger character on a MUD called Carrionfields, and I was part of a cabal called the Sylvans.  I would just lay in wait outside the city gates, camoflagues wearing whatever gear i had stolen ( usually nice stuff, cause noone but noone beats a ranger in the woods)  and i would ambush from my cover, and totally own people...

Now I love playing silent cloaked redeem skulk, and waiting above doorways for 3 or more rines to run through, and then eat them...
