Before I moved out to Naperville, I lived in Huntington Beach, California (http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?csz=Huntington+Beach%2C+CA&state=CA&uzip=92648&ds=n&name=&desc=&ed=hEgkgep_0ToNOIxmqAcp0UQBMjzEmR7ukiyi5YAmP1PCb709PwpxHEVFsax15p5KCeWjvbe3BgOC0QuyRYp4e.g-&zoomin=yes&BFKey=&resize=s&mag=5). It was... nice, I guess. Didn't have too much money at the time so I wasn't able to appreciate the finer things. Got to live through earthquakes and other fun stuff (Not kidding, earthquakes were a blast. We were watching the news and suddenly the cameras and set started to shake, and the anchor said that everyone around L.A. should get to cover :)), like... the L.A. Riots (Man I could've gone out and found MonsE :p His unit was dispatched to uphold martial law with the L.A.P.D. BTW: Rodney King was GUILTY! Go find the full footage only shown in L.A. He swings at cops, he was so doped up on acid and ^^ that they couldn't even bring him down with tasers, he just pulled them out of him) and O.J. Simpson (Guilty guilty guilty!)
After about 10 years, moved out to Naperville, Illinois (http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?csz=Naperville%2C+IL&state=IL&uzip=60563&ds=n&name=&desc=&ed=ubiuZ.p_0TqwRCwyUVsCJ3Q2I4IADBCefNutEnfbmYknwBRfuV0SIDus1F5PsvG.zNB1OQFleqrOpiozCEQ_G.9poQ--&zoomin=yes&BFKey=&resize=s&mag=5)... god damn, Chicago will always have a special spot in my heart. I've been around and I can safely say it is the only city that has personality. In other cities like Seattle or New York, you walk down the street and have the honking of horns, the panhandlers, etc. It's lifeless. It's dirty and dull.
Chicago, you walk down the street, the slow jazz of a street performer echoeing down the street... the smells of cooking from the Berghoff... the sights, the boats in the lake, the beach, Buckingham Fountain, and the XRT Fire over Chicago fireworks display... The Cubs... man the Cubbies... :( I miss it so much :(
Moved out to Fort. Collins, Colorado (http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?csz=Fort+Collins%2C+CO&state=CO&uzip=80521&ds=n&name=&desc=&ed=gmCx3.p_0ToLimftxZt5kdYv0Tfb0y_LYm4QCfM25o9xXHPYmYCeiET1rCPZc5YtAIogwnt.i.hK1SCLBpzgCsv4nLC8&zoomin=yes&BFKey=&resize=s&mag=3) in October. It's a lot like Naperville in just about every aspect, except without Chicago... Denver blows. It's full of bums. Mountains are nice, I guess, but you can't find a decent pizza, a good bratwurst (except the guy selling them in front of Home Depot... they're hand made by some Austrian guy), or the music.
Appreciate Chicago while you still can, I guarentee you'll miss it.
-
Oh and since Agent Orange can't answer this (AFAIK), he lives (lived?) in, I believe, Frederick, Colorado (http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?csz=Frederick%2C+CO&state=CO&uzip=80530&ds=n&name=&desc=&ed=OEpdwup_0Tq5Bh8PQuuY7_238dIRO3qURkJytpcptZnqfVX1POdlwJ09cXID3KWHijQpeS7r3o9D8LAxkbDe2Z5Fu.A3&zoomin=yes&BFKey=&resize=s&mag=4).

I know we had this topic before, because it was the very first topic I posted in! Ahhh, the memories.
Anyway, I'm in Oklahoma, Norman to be exact. If you care at all about college football, that's the city that OU is in, home of the Sooners. Yeah, it's an odd name for a football team. If you don't care about college football, I can't say that I blame you much.

I'm the only one from good old South Carolina. We're a little slow getting on the "internat" bandwagon. I live near Florence, SC, which has no close large cities to associate with. I work in Darlington, for those who actually watch NASCAR. I actually live on a farm in a place called Friendfield. :)
-
Down here in San Diego, California (just in case any of you forgot my location), it has been much warmer as of late. It gets up to the 90's, this past sunday up to 102 (farenheit), although to be honest it doesn't feel all that hot. Sure it feels a lot warmer, but not hot enough to gripe about it like most people have been recently. Maybe its because I've begun wearing short-sleeve shirts instead of my usual long sleeves recently.
