I've only got the readyroom, one hive (probably will get tweaked), and part of MS done which is where I'm stuck. I got a couple of pics of MS and wanna know if ya have any ideas.
It is set on a jump gate space station if ya wanna know the theme or such.

I think its a bit dark yet, I'm trying to find a way to brighten it up.

I really like the feel, set up some floodlights bast-style or something to add light to it.

Looks cool so far, nicely detailed. And I don't mind the darkness, it helps with my silent skulking skills. :D

Yeah, I do think it looks cool how it is. I actually like the somewhat dark lighting in MS. I guess one or two more lights wouldn't hurt, though. I like the lights where the little step is and the lines on the floor.

It looks very nice - I would recommend more windows.
Why? Because windows rock.
Other than that, it looks very nice :)

In the first pic, move the comm chair, it looks quite vulnerable to skulk attack and if someone tries to save it they'll likely get hurt.

Jefe: Thats about the 4th place I've had the CC, it's in the corner so as you can't fit behind it, so I don't know if that changes what you thought.
Dubb: I'll be adding more windows around the map once an area gets finished. So I don't have a window then later on put a hallway outside it that would be un-seen ;)

Get some new textures on those... too much texture... an interesting idea to have a vent in there is to have a electrical conduit go up under a computer and have the computer broken open...

The two rooms I've seen so far look very big. Consider that big rooms are hell to the aliens. Compare refinery hive on ns_bast.

Well I figure MS should be big and friendly to marines, and while the latest one is big, all the computers make it a bit more close-quarters. but then thats is just two rooms, I have plenty small areas planned.
I'll think about finding some other textures for the square computers (not hte big corner ones) and I like the vent idea, but vents are a looooong way off right now, so we shall see :)

Another advice then: Make the hallways leading to marine start have bends just before reaching marine start, so aliens can take cover from fire just outside. Nothing is worse than an endgame where everyone has hmgs and the Onos have to run long distances out in the open to get to the marines.

That's pretty sweet map ABS. If your trying to increase the brightness, you could probably put floodlights up, and what do you use to make your maps? I think I might have a design for a map.. But, I'm not sure where to get a Natural Selection map editor.
