The hives, MS, and res nodes should be obvious. The color gradient is aproximate elevation difference (light = high, dark = low).
Vents I have not put on yet, but they will be very extensive, (nancy extensive) but mine will be labeled an unconfusing (think tanith/bast).
Weldables I have not marked nor considered yet.
The layout isnt to prefect scale, just approximate. The room:hallway size relation is a fair bit off, etc, etc.
Last note is I am thinking of making another room nearish to Fusion Reactor for sieging and all that stuff.

looking good, make sure there are vents inside each hive so skulks can get out if marines have the entrances locked down

I see how it is. Trying to show off with your nice pretty layouts and make my layouts look like they were whipped up in mspaint in five minutes. I SEE HOW YOU ARE!!!

i found a good relocation spot, unless the question marks are vents.
and how are you going to do a spiral staircase? will the comm be able to drop stuff at the bottom of it?

Well, there most likely will be vents going to that room, I plan on skulks being able to near-completely traverse the map via vents. Also I forgot to mark/mention that the round room north of where you marked will be a revolving door like in bast, or some similar long-opening obstruction.
The spiral stairs I plan on only being 1.25 or 1.5 turns so it wont be much problem for the comm to view it from an angle off to the side, you wont be dropping more than a few meds on a staircase anyway ;)

owl: like I mentioned to fatty the round room northish of the spot you picked will be a slow moving door type thing, which effectivly drops your plan to 3 RTs. However I will still keep it in mind and try to fix that area.

My photoshop gamma correction is a bit off, they are not quite this dark.
also notice the funny thing about this room, that is very unlike other maps? The cargo bay actually has more than 3 crates of cargo OGMWTFBBQHAX! :lol:

lookin' good so far. It would be interesting to see different sizes of crates there too. having them all the same size makes them look like giant stacked blocks of lego.

of course not. I'd probably spend the entire game trying to get through kharaa infested hallways just to get there and relocate.... because I'm a bad comm. B)
