Just a general banter thread where we remember all of teh funnay that has occured in the LM community :) I'll kick it off with a few of my memories:
That guy who came into #lunixmonster and said "DUDE!" at the beginning of every statement (and how we'd all say "dude!" right after he said anything) -then he got banned or something *shrugs*.
When we played co_ava for the first time. Tess' responses were "heee-larious"

I started cursing at her after she whined about it for 20 minutes straight :) The screenshots I was taking of the map ended up including some of her "OH MY GOD THIS IS THE WORST MAP EVER" "WHY ARE WE PLAYING THIS AHHHHHHH"

I got a memory, the times with me comming, and relocating so mny pointless times, once had 3 bases in one room, :)

Relocating over 7 times on Tanith, through strategic use of a phase gate in marine spawn and beacons ;D

Building a PG on the other side of marine start on Veil while 3-hive aliens were tearing everything up. "If you get scared, just take the phase!"

BM building Comm chairs and Ips near them all over ns_viel, then recylcing the Comm chairs, causing all the marines to spawn in different locations of the map :lol:

In many rounds of Rocket Crowbar 2, hearing a scientist mine say "Ah, a fellow scientists", then hearing Sonic over voicecomm "S***!" *Bewm* "Bloody scientists...". Then, a few moments later hearing "A, Gordon" "For f***'s sake!" *Bewm*. Good times :lol:
Also in RC2, being lolfighter's "Wayward student", learning the techniques of the crowbarang. :D

You forgot the BS Cannon. The weapon of supreme unbalance, topped only by Gem's teleporting all over the place.

Yea, those times in RC2 were funny too. I've recently been playing it on some open servers when there's other people online, and I've discovered that we seem to be the only people who whore the sci mines and BS cannon as much as we did; Everyone else seems to have a thing for the MP5 (which is actually lamer than the BS cannon). Also, I think I've taken Gem's spot as the telefragger as I've gotten better with the Gaus to the point where people are constantly bitching at me to choose a "weapon that takes more skill" (I think it's hilarious whenever anyone mentions skill in a video game, especially when they're running around with the MP5, which is the easiest weapon to use and is still rather effective). However, I think it's safe to say I've kept my title as Houndeye Whore. :D

The MP5 better than the BS Cannon and the sci mines? BLASPHEMY!
And by teleporting, I meant that one fire mode where you teleport between spawnpoints. You blink all over the map and telefrag people who spawn in. The one where you teleport to where you shoot doesn't work very well, as Gem and I figured out: We'd see each other simultaneously, and shoot almost simultaneously (I must've been a bit faster). Instead of hitting me, Gem hits my scientist shot instead and teleports to it, blowing it up and killing us both. XD
