Title: Are we getting Combine Penguin back?

Are we getting the server back any time soon, if at all? Unpassworded perhaps? I know there isn't any HL2 Adminmod yet, does anyone know if it is in the works?

I recall seeing the info in IRC being set to "hl2dm server down for now"

It is passworded to allow us to go on the server with no trouble (seeing as there is no Admin Mod on it for reserved slots).

LB said on IRC when the servers were down because of the HL2DM crash something along the lines of "it did bad things to the box", so I doubt we will be seeing it untill the cause of these bad things is fixed.

i had a feeling that was what the problem was since when it went everything went down right after it

Ah, but there is. I just released a plugin that does 90% of what admin mod does, reserved slots included :p
LB had said something about memory leaks, and something else... I can't rememeber what else though

I hosted a HL2DM server last night on a whim, and even though there were no more than 4 players on it at a time, the memory usage gradually climbed until the system crashed. This was on a 6mb connection and it was the only server running on the box.
So yeah. Memory leaks. Valve should probably do something about that, I think.

There's a new patch for any HL2 engine game, I don't know what all it addresses and if there is a Source:Server patch.
