WOOH! my quizbowl team got 1st place at state, which means were headed to the national competition in Kansas City, Mo. the last week in June!  If we win there, we could get LOOTS of stuff, scholarships, prestige, etc.

generally it is a team of 4 people with one or more alternates

you go to this place for a game show type thing.  the mc ask your team a question and if you get it right you get a point, but if you miss it the other team gets a chance to "steal" control from you

bowling has nothing to do with it.  i hope this helps clear this up for you clashen

In all seriousness that is cool stuff.  Even if you don't win national, two weeks in kc + all expenses paid = good fun.

Thats nothing, this summer I get to go out hiking in the back country for a month.  All expenses paid and all I have to do is elevate 600 feet of trail.  Bet you can't beat that.  

Really though all expenses paid to anywhere is awesome.  Have fun and don't drink to much with Bm its bad for your health.

thank God, neither do I, I allways feel ackwards turning people down for keggers, etc. I feel like they think i think im better than them, and i dont, i just dont drink.
