It's not ready yet. SQL errors out the wazoo and sometimes it makes the server lag out.

I hosted a HL2DM server last night on a whim, and even though there were no more than 4 players on it at a time, the memory usage gradually climbed until the system crashed. This was on a 6mb connection and it was the only server running on the box.
So yeah. Memory leaks. Valve should probably do something about that, I think.

That is what I do. I am employed here and they have stationed me here.
And the only thing I admin is the in-office print server, but that will hopefully change with promotions.

The crowbar world model in HL2 is a real object and can cause damage just like anything else. You just need to already have one equipped and you can throw the pickup one, with your hands or with the gravity gun.

HLDM was the source of all HL1 mods. you need the multiplayer backbone, and counterstrike doesn't bloody count.
So while the gameplay itself was a bit retarded, it's still necessary and it's definitely a good thing that this is coming out.
