does anyone here have a spare\unwanted dawn of war cdkey? i’m trying to track one dawn for a friend of mine who is a warhammer 40k nut.  He just missed the fp sign up and really wants to paly. I had heard that a few people in lm had gotten keys and was wondering if there may be some of you that don’t play it anymore and would not mind giving him your key.

he asked me if it was ok. i said it was, seeing as it was an open beta test.  :)

The graphics are sexy (just started playing today). And the ultimate units are teh ownage. They're almost invincible. I took out computer with just the Chaos race's ultimate (but the Avatar from the Eldar is the best to me). But the game does seem kind of generic, though.

MUST we have two threads?

Like I said in there, it's a generic game, with generic graphics, generic gameplay, etc. The only thing I found really interesting was the squad equipment/reinforcement, and the reinforcements ends up crippling you rather then helping.

I find the first two pictures to be remarkably better looking. DOW looks lowpoly and lowres. The tank driver in GC2 has more detail on his face then the Space Marines do on their entire body (The guns the Space Marines are holding are largely solid blocks with a gun-like texture on it, the marines in GC2 have actual modeled guns. I find the lack of texture detail despicable, especially on the backpacks. The Assault Marines are as boring as you can get. Which surprises me since Homeworld 2 was a feast for the eyes.)
