relocate to gen, control all of upper top floor, send rines down to kill OK and Viaduct West rts routinely.

send out a few marines to cap nodes, get two rambos who can aim and tell them to rambo, elec nodes, upgrade weapons/armor, medspam for rambos, get proto, go takeover waste and farm it up on top by the node build phase, finish rest of upgrades, rush to cargo build phase build TF build turrets build siege, ping fusion, re-fortify areas, kill any alien RTs left on map, HA train to satt and siege.

For any ns map:
1- stay in readyroom
2- jump around and mic spam
3- continue jumping around until an admin forces you to join a team.
4- complain to the admin about how you were having so much fun in there.
5- F4 and repeat.

Hmm. rolf roy richard denard III showed us quite an interesting way to play ns_nothing. At the start of the game, he simply headed out from marine base, never looking back. I tagged along, knowing that he's a good player who knows what he's doing. We swept through cargo, gen and miasma, the comm dropping rts for us along the way. Within two minutes, we had five nodes in total and res was pouring in. Won two games in quick succession this way, third took a little longer. Maybe we just got lucky, I dunno.
I think we can all agree that one of the problems marines face is that they have to build everything they need at the start of the game (an IP and an armory at minimum). The aliens have their hive, and can head out to capture nodes immediately. Perhaps sending out one or two marines to cap nodes right off the bat should be standard procedure.

I either go cap nodes, or become the rine builder person ;p but 2-3 people capping nodes in a fast pattern is the way marines win.

Thats a very good strat for ns_nothing, and I can vouch for it because I was in a game with Legionnaired as the comm using that strat.

the key to any marine win is usually pressure if you have enough presure you dont even need to elec nodes or build turrets anywhere, because the aliens are so preoccupied by saving there 1 and only hive, you tech up real fast, jp shotty the hive and WEEEEEEEE.
on tanith i like to reloc to chem trans cuz its just a really fun place, reeaaaaallly fun if they have sat comm.

Chemical Transport is very nice, but you'll have an epic battle on your hands if they have Fusion. Basically, if they can keep you outta Acidic Solution, you have to take the long route to get anywhere. If they CAN'T, however, you can put pressure on both cargo and fusion at the same time. Expect some of the most intense battles you've ever seen.
