I think my mouse sens is at 20, using an optical... heck, I think I use 18-20 for every HL game I play, heh.

I myself use most of the techniques above, even the one Gem stated. The only problem I'm having is that I've gotten to the point where I'm not even bursting as much anymore, it's all just single shots (bad, bad, I don't get as many kills because of this) 
This seems to be a really big problem for me when scoped on the AUG and the T "version" of it (can't remember the name, but it's an automatic scope one, not that 5000 rifle either)

I used to be decent in CS, played it ever since it came out, at one point I was in a clan (though I honestly don't know how I got in..) then I stopped playing CS and my skills went downhill. Recently I've started going to this web cafe across the street from my school for some casual gaming (Read: CS playing.. all they ever play is CS ¬_¬) and my skills are slowly starting to return. My school rather sucks at CS, I played for the first time in a year and a half and I still do better than those who only talk about CS every waking minute, people challenged me to CS (why!? WHY!?) and well, I guess I'm currently ranked up there in my school... too bad that's not saying much. =/
