just try to reconnect and if that doesn't work delete the client.blob file and start steam up again and have it redownload it :D

is that the actual error, or does it say something like"unable to connect to steam network..." yadda yadda yadda, If  so I know how to fix that one,


If that client bob thing dosnt work trying moving the platform.cfg  (right extention?)  to desktop (in steamapps) and make it redl it that hasbeen said to work sometimes.

Naw, it doesn't get around to dling the platform.gcf :/

And the error screen is "could not connect to steam network. The post is just the errorlog.

Together, we can defeat steam.  Also, if anyone wants to save 50+mb, delete half-life localized.gcf in your steamapps folder, its an old file thats not used anymore.
