Because LB doesn't get thanked enough :)

Thanks for taking your time, money, and livelyhood for running Lunixmonster and FSD and giving us all a great place to play.

<3 u in ur faec

But I suppose my thanks was expressed enough as being the traditional outlet of admin_pwnage on LB's end ;)

Look I even made you a card! Everyone sign it or I bant you for being a selfish ass!

Rules:

1) If you don't have photoshop or equivilent high-quality editor, either get it, or don't sign the card. MSPaint will hack the quality to HELL, trust me, and I will not tolerate some lazy sod crapifying everything. Get PaintShopPro if you have to, it's free for 30 days or some crap.

2) Keep quality as high as possible. If quality gets bad it degrades into crap with every change. If you reduce quality too much, I'll delete it, and edit it myself. You really don't want me to do that ;)

3) Server and Forum admins get their names front, center, and large. Server admins get the lower center, slightly smaller, and the reserved slotters get the sides, and smallest.

4) If your name is outrageously huge (no clan tags, those are stupid, keep the size within limits) or your message is spammy and stupid, I'll chop it up and make it really ittybitty ;)

5) Add any messages you want, again, not too big, dammit!

6) When the card advances a few people (so we can backtrack changes if need be), remove your attached post, so it's not spammy and hugely bandwidth eating.

7) If you see someone else posting, wait until they post, so we don't have two versions of the card.

8) Try to use unique colors first. If you're out of colors, then fine, repeat, but I don't want to have 5 'Red' in a row.

Oh and 9) Keep file size under 200kb, so that those without hosting can still use the attach feature. That means no huge personalized images, or fancy looking images for your name.

I've done one of these 'edit the image' things before and basically every rule I outlined was broken. Nubs will not be tolerated, it was bad enough LAST time...

Okay now you see, ANeM, the quality got REALLY CRAPPY when you did that :/ If someone else comes by and does that, it'll be unreadble before long. Doing this image thing is like running a fax of a fax of a fax through a fax over and over, you have to keep it as good looking as possible, for as long as possible :p If you want, I'll reedit it for you so it's pretty again ;)

EDIT: Scratch that, ANeM sexed it up! Gooo ANeM! :D

BTW if you start running out of space on the card, which shouldn't happen for a while, just add more space vertically (not horizontally, most of us use 1024 resolution, and 800 wide fits perfect). Be sure to use 'Canvas Size...' and not 'Image Size...'. The remember to set the anchor at the TOP.

I dunno what Fireworks is, but as long as it can cnovert to .jpg without making it look like an inkjet color printer just printed on a soaking wet piece of paper (Aka the colors get disgusting and blurred, wierd smudges all over) it's good.

Is that cruddy JPEG compression I see? Heavens forbid!

I might get around to adding my sarcastic wit, er... good wishes to the card, if I can find that old copy of psp.

Thanks, LB.

Took the image out, too many people complaining about the uniqueness of my signature.

Still, thanks much Lightning_Blue.
