Ok, i feel the need to post this here, because it's pissing me off more and more.

I hate people poking fun, impersonating or otherwise ridiculing my english accent. I really hate it. And anyone who does will be getting a torrent of abuse from me. No, i don't care who it is.

I don't start impersonating anyone elses accents on voice do i? No. I don't. Because it's rude and half the people that *think* they can do an english accent do nothing but spout pointless racial stereotypes. And you know what, every time someone does this, i'm gonna start whining to the admins about it. I will not rest until every last racist bastard who decides to think it's funny to ridicule my accent is banned.

Now you may be thinking that i'm overreacting or whatever? But to be honest, it really goddamn bugs me, it's insulting, and there is not a damn thing i can do with my accent. Would you make fun of someone with a birth defect? Would you make fun of someone in a wheelchair? Sorry, those people can do as much to change their problems as i can to change my accent.

So for all you no who've done it in the past and think it's funny, no you.

If you're going to self-censor, go all the way. Starring out half the letters isn't good enough

Accents are, for the most, win. Any accent besides Danish accents anyway. So this is one of those rare events where one might say "They're just jealous" and actually be right o_O

Thing's like this really bugs me, that's the main reason I don't use my mic.
Last time i heard someone bash on your accent was today, by someone named "BizZy| 9mm something something". Really pissed me off but there's not much you can do since you can't block 1 persons text. God i hope they'll include that in the future.

Sorry to hear about that esuna. Im a country boy and Ive had people make fun of my 'accent' as well. I just brush it off to ignorance and stupidty (leaning on the side of stupidity).

Guess Im just one of them thar unedumacated hill folk.

I dont see why people do that trying to impersonate accents to make fun of people, if I impersonate one I do it because I think it's cool (mind you not the english one much, as im part french and im pretty sure that s a sin somewhere

)
But if people do it constently it only shows how stupid people are...

When i pug everyone asks me to say "life is like a box of chocolates" because i sound like forest gump + i'm cool and euro. It's fun, i never hate them because of it, infact it's made me something of a celeb!

What about people who naturally take on others' accents just by hearing them? (My friend asked, she does that. It's not a concious effort, she just takes it on.)

I would have to vote for esuna's accent to be the sexiest, but then again that's probably because he's always saying things like 'Bob is a hot and sexy manpai,' and suchlike. Then probably Niteowl's accent, because he's always screaming like a madman.

And lf... I haven't heard your voice in so long... memories... fading... Could you just call me up? What's the charge for calling from Germany? Not that bad, right?
