Check with Shina, LB, she has some Doom remake in 3d. Still very similar to the original, just updated graphics. I don't what was called, tho.

You have to remember during 1.04 Flayra donated a week's consti money to CoFR server to keep us afloat when we were going to close down. The money received paid for the server for 3 months.
So, it shows he was well funded from CM contributions, AND he was in touch with the community. I personally won't say much until I see the latter is restored. Unless Flayra reconnects with his community and LISTENS to them, this will go nowhere.

Actually, no-ip.com allows you to create a forward directly to a port. You connect through port 80, but it redirects to the port you need.
Handy for mail servers your firewall doesn't want you to use.

Yeah, there's quite a few, and when I get on, I usually see 2-3 other guildmates (other than my wife). Hardest thing right now is catching up to the higher lvled, mainly b/c I can't dedicate as much time to play as I'd like (stupid sleep getting in the way).

Actually, the only ones I play right now is Radelbrik, Lvl 10 Warrior Gnome on Greymane, Radenskarr, Lvl 22 Tauren Hunter on Warsong, and Radlendorn, a Lvl 8 night elf druid on Greymane (just started him 2 days ago).
If enough people are interested, I'll gladly join a new realm and start a character with some fellow LM'ers, given enough ppl do it.
I also have a Vent server, PM me if you want the IP. Basically, it's only used when we're on Greymane or Warsong, but if we do a community thing, I'll open it to whatever the needs are.

Admitted, since NS' demise, my FPS playtime has as well.
Mainly I play WoW every night, and watch a few movies. I try to join up on CS:S and zombie servers, but to no avail.
I really miss NS, but more for the LM community and the fun we had. Sadly, though, I don't see any other mods/games on the horizon to fill the void.
I still lurk, and hit IRC from time to time, so PM me if you'd like to meet up.
