roommate showed me this. its quite fun. you get a random word like 'boat' or something and try to draw it so others can guess it. points awarded to guessers for speed and to the drawer if everyone gets it.  

my roommate likes to draw a penis for every word he gets, always gets kicked out of the rooms.  :rolleyes:

and i like drawing things that are completely unrelated to the actual word. like when i had the word 'dresser' i drew a tank driving across a desert. then said afterwords 'you guys were so close to it'.

last night obs played prev in the first round of the CAL omega playoffs. both rounds are very close and very entertaining.

first half is 45 minutes of heavys trying to siege hives vs fades and onii.
2nd half is us getting vent shotgunned down and trying to come back. we are down to 0 nodes at one point.

well. i have moved into my dorm. i am liking it here so far. i hop on lunixmonster to try out the new patch, and check the connection i get. 270-300 constant ping.  :(

i am a spoiled american kid. i have never had to play with ping this high. i find myself dying to marines when i normally would have landed my 3 bites in time.

*weeps*

does anyone have any ideas at all? or am i screwed? i don't want to be ness or one of you crazy euros!

i'm going to my friend's  cabin up by Duluth for about 10 days (he's played on LM a few times, under the name 'ultra fatty'). we shall waterski, go 4-wheeling, set off fireworks, etc.

so someone else will have to build your res nodes for you.

when i try to connect to LM 3.0b3 , i get this

"You have been disconnected from the server. Reason: Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket(server was unable to connect to the authentication server,31)."
