If you'd told me what happened in the film, I could have found the film, and by extension found the song for you.
In fact I could have done exactly the same thing Jaki did for you and emailed the man responsible for the movie soundtrack.
For someone who would "be very grateful", you're pretty slack when it comes to handing out the information that people need. 3 weeks and no reply on the music forum? Two weeks before you even replied to us here?
Waste of people's time.

I'm pretty certain I could ID the song if I got a source where the file itself was obtained. Even something trivial like "my mate was at a gig at Bar Blahblah in Lalaland and he heard this"... because at least then you can check the Bar for any bookings.

Insects will be nice to see, as will ID, but the cynic in me tells me these projects will vanish.
I remember Brains, and Zombie Panic, they didnt last long enough.
Besides, in 2 months time we're all going to be playing Quake Wars, so something stellar is going to NEED to happen to keep HL2 ticking along as a viable community, imho.

I'm going for a DS Lite, with Phoenix Wright, Resident Evil, Trauma Center, and thats my opening gambit.
The next gen console I'm waiting for is the Wii, which I probably WILL buy on launch, and I can guarantee you all that most of my pocket money will be spent on downloading Ninentdo's back catalogue through their online service.

IMHO I'd save for an entirely new rig, from the sounds of it you're going to need one in the near future anyhow.
In fact, I saved for an entirely new rig, and got a Nvidia 7900 GTX. Nice card, till it burnt itself out.
Still, fingers crossed there's no problem with the 7950 G2.
